Bread Kaja (Sweet)


Hi friends..

My first recipe for making bread kaja (Sweet)..

For preparing this bread kaja takes nearly 10 min..

The fast and quick making for the sweet at home..

Preparation ingredients needed:
  1. Bread Slices - 6
  2. Sugar - 100g
  3. Oil for deep fry
  4. Elachi powder 
  5. Cashew nuts - 4 (for garnishing) 
  6. Pista - 4 (for garnishing)

Making of Bread Kaja..

  • Cut off the brown edges of bread pieces and cut them into triangles as shown in image. 
  • They could be cut into any desired shape. 
  • Heat oil necessary for deep fry and fry the bread pieces on low flame till they become crispy and brown on both sides as shown. 
  • To a bowl, add 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Mix till the sugar dissolves and let it boil on medium flame. 
  • Boil the sugar water until half thread consistency is obtained as shown and cut off the stove. 
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon Elachi powder and mix. 
  • Dip the fried pieces one by one and put them on a plate. 
  • Garnish with nuts like cashew nuts, pista, and badam..

Here finally the bread kaja is ready in 10 min..
